About Me
I enjoy working and encouraging children of all ages through play and exercise.
I am an outdoor person enjoying both Cycling, walking and most recently have been running a small gardening service locally.
I have just refreshed my first aid training to ensure I'm current.
My Experience
I have significant experience of working with children of all ages over 12years of working with families, for which I can provide references, during which I have been both a live in and a day nanny.
I have brought up my own 2 children and now that I am starting to acquire some spare time I have been working with the 'Home start' charity to support familes with childcare.
I have also exprience of working in nurseries, toddler groups and creches.
I have also worked with a charity called homestart where I have provided help to mothers needing assistance due to having larger than average families (such as 12 children) or just those just needing extra help.Im currently working a day nursery 3 days a week.
My Qualifications
PPA - Pre-school Playgroup Assoc.
YTS (City and Guilds) - Catering
CRB - Checked for Home start support work and my own childrens school.
Pediatric first aid course – Sept2016
I have just recently become ofstead registerd.
My Availability
Any week days. (up to 3 days - full and flexible on which days)
Whilst I can drive I do not have use of our car (used by Husband) but much prefer to use legs! and public transport which I find children really enjoy.
I really wish to work locally to give both you and me flexibility.
