My Experience

I have a broad background in education, childcare, and leadership, with experience that spans both classroom and managerial roles. From working as a Teaching Assistant in four different primary schools to teaching English and Drama, I’ve built a strong foundation in education. I’ve also supported children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them develop confidence and achieve their potential.

In addition to teaching, I’m a qualified tennis coach and have run youth coaching sessions that promote physical development and teamwork. I also have extensive childcare experience, including a full-time nanny role during the 2016/2017 academic year, caring for three children and managing school drop-offs, pick-ups, and daytime routines. I’ve continued to support families with before and after-school care over the years.

Since 2021, I have been working as a Senior Operations Manager, where I’ve developed strong organisational, leadership, and problem-solving skills. While I’ve valued this experience, I’ve made the decision to return to education—something I’ve always been deeply passionate about.

I will be starting my teacher training in September and am excited to bring both my classroom experience and leadership skills into a full-time teaching role.
