I can not recommend Eileen more highly. As a first time mom I had the naive vision that mat leave would be a chance to tick off my to-do list while I watched my sleeping baby on the monitor. Ha! After six months of spending most of the day trying to get my daughter to take a nap with no time to so much as drink a hot tea I finally came to childcare.co.uk looking for help and thank god, we found Eileen. She came three days a week for 4-5 hours at a time and was the best part-time playmate, caregiver and teacher we could have ever hoped for. Not only was she responsibly and trustworthy, but she put a huge amount of thought and effort into activity planning (I would occasionally even get texts the night before she came asking if we had certain supplies or toys she could use). For my daughter, every day with Eileen meant fun trips to the park, visits to the library and even seasonal sensory play - she even brought her own pumpkin to our house after Halloween so that my daughter could experience a pumpkin carving! For me, every day with Eileen meant complete peace of mind that my daughter was safe, happy and learning. Eileen even did special projects with my daughter to make Thanksgiving and Christmas presents for us. When we first started looking for help I thought I would have to settle for someone who would keep my daughter safe and vaguely entertained. Instead we found Eileen, a brilliant parent and teacher who treated my daughter as her own, constantly thinking of new ways to help her reach her next developmental milestone and learn about the world. We loved our time with Eileen and know that she would be a wonderful support to any family.
