About Me
My name is Samantha and I live in Toft Hill, Bishop Auckland, with my partner and little boy. I have been childminding for over 10years. Previous to that I was a childminder's assistant for 2 years
My sister has been working with me for over 5 years as my assistant.
There is an area for the children to play and learn. We also have a large secure garden.
I have a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage. I follow your child's interests and plan exciting activities, to help them to learn and develop. I encourage your child to learn and develop through play.
My Experience
Before I registered as a Childminder I helped my Nana who is also a Childminder and in February 2010 I became her assistant. I find working with children extremely rewarding.
My Qualifications
Pre-registration course in childcare
NVQ level 3 in childcare learning and development
Paediatric first Aid (12hrs)
Safeguarding children
Level 2 in Food Safety
I will be attending training courses on a regular basis
My Availability
My normal working hours are Tuesday - Friday 7:30am - 5:30pm (including school holidays) however I am willing to be flexible
Please note I do not offer school/nursery drop offs and collections
