Hi, my name is Izzy. I am an outgoing, confident and cheerful 26 year-old. I will be moving to Manchester from mid-Sept 2022.
I have been living in Liverpool since 2018, after having worked in childcare for three years. I originally moved to Liverpool to study at university, but have since worked as a nanny for a further two years, looking after five children from four different families. The ages of these children ranged from 9 months to 7 years.
I am now looking to continue my work as a nanny in Manchester, while embarking on a new study path to becoming a veterinary hydrotherapist and physiotherapist. These studies are non-university based, meaning I now have maximum flexibility with regards to attending and can, therefore, commit to full-time or part-time hours with a family.
Before moving to Liverpool for my studies, I was a nanny and mother's help for three families in Kent, with a total of eight children of various ages (ranging from new born to 10 years), for just over a year and a half. Prior to this, I worked full-time at a nursery school in Bristol for a year and a half, where I looked after children from as young as 3 months up to 4 years.
I particularly enjoy doing all sorts of craft activities with the children and teaching them how to make different things - I don't mind getting messy! I also enjoy going on walks and exploring new places, and I love doing silly things like dressing up and face painting! Additionally, I am happy to give help with homework and reading/writing for any children in school, as well as cooking and/or carrying out any house chores.
In my spare time, I enjoy salsa dancing, drawing, painting, baking, cooking, reading, and writing silly stories & poems. I also look after my little elderly rescue dog, Foxy!
I completed my Paediatric First Aid training in July 2017, and I have a full driving license.

My Experience
I am currently working ad-hoc hours as a nanny for three families - one family with a girl and boy aged 7 and 5, respectively; another with a boy aged 2 and a half years; and the third with a girl aged 3 years. I previously worked full-time hours with these families, but had reduced my hours due to restarting my university studies full-time. I also worked part-time for a fourth family in Liverpool, looking after a 4-year-old girl. I began working for these families in August 2020, and continued working regular hours for them until restarting my studies in Sept 2021. I have since been working ad-hoc and holiday hours for three of these families, from Sept 2021 until now. I am now due to start studies outside of university which allow me much greater flexibility with attendance and completion.
Before moving to Liverpool, I worked as a nanny for two families and a mother's help for a third family, looking after 8 children in total. The ages of these children varied between new born and 10 years old, and I was responsible for an assortment of care duties (for example: leading bath and bed time, assisting with homework, meal preparations, before/after school/nursery runs etc). I started working for these families in January 2017 and finished in August 2018.
Before this, I worked as a nursery assistant, where I looked after young children of different age groups, starting from 3 months up to 4 years. I started working there in March 2015 and left in August 2016.
I also completed a week's work experience at the Children's Trust in Tadworth, Surrey, in June 2013, where I both observed and helped to look after children of 1 to 18 years of age with different levels of brain damage.
Additionally, I have worked in a dental practice as a nurse and receptionist, and in catering.
My Qualifications

- Nannying from £14.00 per hour (gross)
- Babysitting from £10.50 per hour
£14p/h or £10.50p/h for evening babysitting (when kids are asleep). More for overnight work.
