I am an experienced maternity nurse/nanny with a wealth of childcare knowledge and wonderful references. I have come from a paediatric nursing background and have experience from new borns to teenagers.
I have an 8 month old son, so have very recent experience of my own, so my ability to empathise and know what a new mum and baby need is very strong. I can appreciate how exhausted and stressed new parents can be, and hopefully can help ease some of that sleep deprivation and stress.
I began nannying at 18 once I had left school and was on my gap year and fell in love with it then. I always knew I wanted to work with children so as I wished to gain a degree I opted for paediatric nursing. Whilst training I realised that I much preferred continued care of children and getting time to build relationships, so I decided once qualified to pursue my earlier nannying career
My first job out of university was working for the royal family in the Middle East, and since then I have worked for several families including other royal families and VIP's.
I have cared for two sets of twins long term, one set from birth (24/5) until age 2 and have both a knowledge of and fascination for multiples.
I have found that doing night relief maternity nursing really works for me, allowing parents to get some sleep 1/2 nights a week for the exhausting first few months. I have my own son now (9 months) and I’m looking to start getting back into helping others with their newborns.
