About Me
Hand In Hand Childminding Services is a home from home care providing a safe nurturing fun stimulating environment. The service is run by myself Becky in between the villages of Pontyclun and Llanharry.
Helping children to develop kind hearts and strong minds is a big ethos here at hand in hand childminding services. Interacting, supporting and guiding children of various ages to reach their full potential by creating and providing fun stimulating environments, full of exciting play based activities are some of the reasons why I love what I do!
Having worked as a nanny I have accumulated over 12 years of dedicated one to one family and child engagement and i’m very excited to use all the skills I have developed over the past years to help all children in my care to thrive and develop to the best of their ability.
I have a happy sociable little boy Hadleigh who is pre school age and two small friendly dogs which children I have previously cared for have always loved. As a family we love going for walks and exploring the great outdoors and as a childcare provider I intend on getting the children out and about as much as possible in the local community to develop knowledge and skills about the world around them.
The children will primarily be in the newly purpose built play room where they will have access to an abundance of adult and child led activities as well as opportunity’s to just freely play and explore.
My Experience
I’m fully registered by CIW and open for business from 19th April. I will be available Monday-Friday 7:30am untill 6:00pm. However having worked for doctors I completely understand that not all jobs are 9-5 therefore I may be able to offer flexibility to meet your required needs.
I will offer full time care hours, school holiday care (if places are available) before and after school care including pick up and drop off to local schools.
I have many years of experience working with newborns up to teenage years having been a nanny and babysitter for many family’s.
My Qualifications
Home-based childcare (CYPOP-5) CIW regulation
CACHE Level 3 in child care and education / grade A
PEADIATRIC first aid pass
level 3 in safeguarding children
level 2 in food safety in catering
level 2 health and safety in the childcare workplace.
Ncf3 level 3 certificate in creative arts
Supporting Covid born babies
Managing challenging behaviour
Btec outdoor forest school currriculum award
NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assitance - in which i completed within a school which provided children with special needs.
A-levels in performing arts and theater studies
9 G.C.S.E
proof of certification is available on request.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
£5.00 is a rough estimate however I am happy To Discuss further with parents or guardians. My fees include three meals, snacks and the cost of outings should we go to a soft play.

Becky is a wonderful, energetic caring person, who's dedication to her role is second to none. She has been a full time nanny for our 3 boisterous boys for a decade, caring for them from birth to 10 yrs with unfailingly enthusiasm.
She is inventive and creative in her support of all the boys with their learning, both supporting home schooling over the last year as well as their wider development.
She loves to get the boys out and about getting exercise and fresh air which had been so important over this last year.
She is reliable, punctual has an amazing work ethic . She has a calm consistent approach with the children and brings out the best in them.
They love being with Becky with her easy laughter and we have no hesitation in recommending Becky. As the boys say, ' she's the best!!!'

I can’t fault Becky at all. She accompanied us and looked after our children on our wedding day. Becky took the stress of childcare away from us for the whole day and night. Our guests even complimented her and we strongly recommended her. I have even offered her a full time nanny position with us should she ever want it.

Becky looked after my 13 month old for 2 evenings when we were visiting the area and was excellent. She has a great energy and enthusiasm that my son loved. My son can be a little shy but he warmed to Becky within minutes. She played games, read to him, feed & changed him and could do all tasks needed for a young baby. He woke up a couple of times during the night and Becky was quick to comfort him back to sleep. I don't usually write reviews but Becky was so good she is the exception - I highly recommend her.
