Sobia looked after our little boy 4-days a week for two years (aged 1 – 3). We were always totally confident in her care. Our son settled with her straight away was always pleased to go. She has a really warm, caring approach and she has two really nice children of her own, which makes for a lovely family atmosphere. And, of course, we wouldn’t have kept our son with her for so long if we hadn’t been happy!
(Note: we sent our own food for dietary reasons but Sobia's food always looked really good.)
Sobia has been looking after our daughter for around six months now and it’s been a fantastic experience. Our daughter loves her time with her and has come on a huge amount in her development in that time as well as making loads of friends. Sobia always acts very professionally and we trust her with our daughter, with food, activities napping etc. We’re altogether very pleased.
Our daughter, now 2, has been going to Sobia's at least twice per week for 6 months. She will begin 3 days per week this month, and I think she will adjust just fine. From the beginning, she has been very excited to go into Sobia's home, and barely says goodbye at drop off. She's seen a few friends come and go with natural turn over, but also has had some steady playmates throughout this time, and is creating nice bonds with them. Sobia is loving, kind, and she has a natural way with the children. Our daughters happiness tells us all we need to know. It's also incredibly convenient that she provides healthy food and nappies during her time there. We're very happy with our care and plan to continue on there!
My 3 year old daughter spent 3 months with Sobia starting off with 2 days a week then 3 days for the last month at short notice, was wonderful she was able to accommodate the extra days!
My daughter really came out of her shell there and I was happy she was well looked after and could socialise with other children.
Easy to communicate with Sobia, and receive updates on how my daughter was doing.
Would definitely recommend to others!
I come from abroad, Sobia took care of my baby for a little more than an week. I think she is ok with the children, my baby was happy to go to her place and he received the care he needed. However, she was not always very good in the relationship with the parents : 1) she took the baby in her car without asking me before if I allowed her to do so. So be clear with her on that point if you accept that or not ; 2) she didn't find the best way to explain me that she refused to provide care to my other child because he had antibiotics. I could very well understand her worries about this situation, but shouting at me in front of my children during 15 minutes was not professional.
