About Me
I am a confident, nurturing and bubbly person and i'm very approachable and easy to talk to.
I am a qualified primary school teacher, with qualified teacher status. My previous work includes two ski seasons in the French Alps, the first as a Nanny in a nursery in Belle Plagne, the second as Head Nanny managing a nursery in Courchevel. In addition to this I have a few families which I babysit for fairly regularly and they are all very happy with the service I provide, some of which I have babysat for several years now and have therefore formed close attachments with the children I look after.
I've had lots of previous experience in the babysitting field, caring for a variety of different aged children and I am very keen to provide my services to parents and families looking for an experienced childcare worker. I have also provided my babysitting services overnight on several occasions so this is something I would be comfortable to provide if needed also.
In addition to babysitting, I am willing to provide tutoring experience if needed to primary age children (I can present my Qualified Teacher Status certificate on request to support this), I just ask for notice for me to plan and gather resources to meet the criteria needed.

My Experience
I have done a variety of babysitting jobs in the past, and I have work experience working in primary schools in the local area. I worked in a local nursery for 2 years, primarily based in the Baby and Toddler Unit, however working with other age groups as and when it was needed. I have also had experience of two ski seasons in the French Alps, working with children aged 4 months to 12 years old whilst overseeing a strong team of Nannies to ensure that 100% guest happiness was achieved.
My Qualifications
- I have 11 GCSEs, 5 AS Level qualifications and 3 A Level qualifications, 2 specialising in Health and Social Care.
- I have a Bachelor of Education degree and Qualified Teacher Status
- I have an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare
- I hold a valid Basic Life Support and First Aid certificate
- I have a Child Protection course attendance certificate
- I am trained in Children's Safeguarding and Welfare
- Level 2 award in Food Safety and Hygiene
My Availability
I would like as much notice as possible but I am very flexible with weekends and weeknights, I would also be free over the school holidays.

Lydia was amazing with our boys! While we were out, she checked in and let us know how the night was going. She made us feel so comfortable while watching our boys. Our boys gave her a 10.5 out of 10!

I would highly recommend Lydia. She was punctual, excellent with communication and fantastic with the children. She has plenty of experience and it shows in her gentle but confident manner.
