About Me
My name is Linzi and I am a registered and qualified Childminder. I have been working with North Lanarkshire Council as a early Years Practitioner and decided that I wanted to work from home. I live with my partner John, my son Cormac and our dog Elsie. I provide Curriculum based experiences that children receive in nursery/school but in a more relaxed environment. I also have a smaller group so the children receive more quality one on 3 care. I love the outdoors and plan activities around this, but also love staying in to do cooking and messy experiences. I will keep my training up to date and retrain on any new courses that may come available. I called my business Linzi's Little Learners as that's my aim, for the little ones to learn through play.
My Experience
I have my HNC in Childcare and Education and also my PHD in Classroom Support Assistance. I have my Pediatric First Aid and Food Safety certificates. Both myself and partner hold a current Disclosure. I worked for North Lanarkshire Council for 4 years, mostly in Family Learning Center's so have experience in working with under 1 year olds.
My Qualifications
HNC in Childcare and Education, PHD in Classroom support Assistance, Pediatric First Aid, Food Safety Certificate and both adults hold current Disclosures. Currently refreshed my Pediatric First Aid, Child Protection and Food Hygiene.
My Availability
I am flexible and will go that extra mile to help families out as I no how stressful it is juggling F/T or P/T work as well as being a parent. My operating hours are 7.30am till 5pm Mon - Fri.
I do not have any availability until Feb 25. I am currently offering Saturday night babysitting on the evening I am free.
