About Me
My name is Helen, I'm 44 years old, married with a daughter, age 14 and I live in Warlingham.
I'm looking for a part time or full time position for 3-4 days a week depending on hours/days, there is flexibility.
I'm an easy going, fun and happy person. I'm reliable, trust worthy and responsible and never like to let anyone down.
I am a non smoker and enjoy exercising regularly, going on lots of different walks with our dog and spending time with my family and friends... Very sociable!
My Experience
I am an experienced nanny of 26 years . I have worked with all ages from 0-14 years old, including working with 2 sets of twins and lots of baby experience.
I am currently working full time for a lovely family in Riddlesdown with 2 girls, now age 3 years old and just turned 1! I have been with this family for around 10 months, so the baby was only 8 weeks old when I started.
Unfortunately they are unable to offer the same hours I am on right now, due to their personal circumstances changing.
Before this I was working full time with a family in Purley with 2 boys age 2 years old and 5 months old.
As the youngest started school last September they no longer needed me full time. I worked for this family for 3.5 years.
Before this I worked for a family in Purely with a boy and a girl ages 5 and 2. I worked for them for 10 months as they moved away and relocated.
Prior to this I worked full time for a family in South Croydon with 2 girls, a 2 year old and new born. Their personal circumstances changed and no longer needed me.
I worked for this family for 3 years.
Previous to this I worked for a family in Shirley with 2 boys ages 5 months and 2 years old.
I also worked for a family in Dulwich for 9.5 years. I looked after identical twin girls from the age of 3. Reason for leaving was that they obviously no longer needed a nanny, as the girls were growing up and becoming more independent.
Another family I worked for in Dulwich had un-identical twin boys age 6 years old.
I worked for them for 2.5 years.
I love being out and about, taking the children on trips to the farm, parks, play groups, soft play etc as well as spending time at home, baking, playing games, setting up activities and creative play, etc, ensuring that the children are entertained and stimulated in all areas of development.
I have a good network of Nanny/Mum friends who I often meet up with so there is plenty of social time for the children to play and interact and make friends!
I have excellent references on request.
My Qualifications
I have the Diploma in Nursery Nursing qualification, (NNEB/DNN), Ofsted Registered and First Aid trained. Also DBS Certified.
My Availability
I am looking for a position from September 2026.
My Fees
- Nannying from £16.00 per hour (net)

Helen has been an absolute pleasure to have as part of our family. From the very beginning she built a wonderful relationship with both of our children and they absolutely adore her!
Helen is incredibly kind, reliable, and trustworthy. She has always approached her role with enthusiasm and professionalism whilst creating a safe and happy environment for our girls.. From the get go Helen gave us complete peace of mind and we always knew our children were safe, loved and exceptionally well cared for. She communicates openly with us sharing photos from their days out and is consistently dependable as well as always willing to go the extra mile to help us out when we needed it.
Helen has become much more than a nanny to us and always gives great advice based on her many years of experience. I cannot recommend Helen highly enough - any family would be lucky to have her.
