I am a fun, kind, disney loving, hardworking 28 year old with an extremely good understanding of the EYFS and childcare. I have worked within the childcare industry for over 12 years and I have loved my time working with children.
I am level 3 qualified, DBS checked and first aid trained!
I started out as a college student in a nursery and worked my way up to deputy manager. I have also worked for families as a private nanny, including being a villa nanny in Majorca. Throughout my career, I have always taken a special interest in SEN. I am Autistic and I have always been eager to learn more about children with additional needs, and how they can best be supported. I have also found that being open with my own experiences with being neurodiverse has benefited those around me and enhanced their own understanding and awareness. During my time as deputy manager, I have been the buildings designated SENCo and deputy Safeguarding Lead. With these additional responsibilities, I have been able to expand my knowledge and work first hand with other health professionals to support children.
My Experience
Started as a student working with all ages from 3months - 5years, then did my level 3 as an apprenticeship working mainly with 3-5 years. I then progressed to a room leader in a 2-3 year old department before leaving the nursery to become a nanny! During the pandemic, I returned to the nursery as deputy manager, where I was also the buildings SENCo and deputy safeguarding lead. Throughout my career, I have done a range of babysitting and Nannying for children from 3months - 16 years.
