My name is Abby and I run my childminding business under the name Fabby Wotsit Childcare.

I am thrilled to announce that I had my first post registration inspection from Ofsted in July ‘18 and got OUTSTANDING in all areas.
I am 50 and very happily married to Max. We have 4 children (3 who are young adults) and we have both worked in childcare for many, many years.
We have a spacious home with a large garden which is fully equipped with wonderful play resources.
I am passionate about the outdoors and it’s a pleasure to nurture each child’s interests as we go about our daily adventures.
My Experience
My dream was always to nanny and so once I received my diploma in Nursery Nursing I spent many years nannying - within which I also branched out into maternity nursing where I cared for a newborn around the clock for 8 families consecutively. I have worked in nurseries, some with the managerial role, plus I opened an After School Club in 2004. I child minded for 3years when we lived in Oxfordshire and have fostered many children across 11 years too. All job changes came with moves due to my husbands time in the RAF but we are well settled now and thoroughly enjoying child minding again.
My experience covers children of all ages and with a range of differing needs and I feel that this will be evident in the high standard of care I will offer to your child.
My Qualifications
I have a nursery nurse diploma and a foundation degree in Early Years, plus a Play Work diploma and a level 4 diploma in Child Psychology. As well as certificates in Child Protection, Safe Guarding, Paediatric First Aid, Health & Safety and Food Hygiene, (plus many many more) I have a level 2 qualification in British Sign Language which I love to use with babies and toddlers to boost their communication development.
My Availability
Term time only so ideal for families who do not work when school settings are shut and therefore do not need child care for 13 weeks of the year. Please therefore only get in touch if you can manage without me during all school holidays. I look forward to hearing from you. My current school collections are from Brackenwood Infants School.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.55 per hour
My rates are £5.55per hour.
Occasional overnight care in my home is provided at £55 per night per child for hours between 6p.m. and 8a.m. and additional hours at £5.50per hour - ratios allowing.

I am now a mum of two and used many childcare services so far. Neither childminders nor nurseries could compete or provide care anywhere near that Abby provides. She is superb and amazing in every level. My kids lived their times in her loving house. She cares, educates, entertain, raise well behaved children and much more. I have now moved to Liverpool and still wish if Abby is still accessible. Thanks Abby for coping with our hectic and stressful life and for trying to accommodate all last minute changes in my timetable. Thanks for caring for and loving my kids and family ❤️.
