About Me
I am 47 years old I have two children of my own who are 24and 20years old and a step son who is 16 years old. I have recently re-married and live in south Devon. I am a very calm and caring person who loves working with children.
My Experience
I have worked in a nursery with under two's for five years where I completed my NVQ3 in child care and education, I planned activities for them , gave feed back to parents , personal care, record keeping. I Then worked in a primary school for eight and a a half years where I gained experience working within key stage one , supporting whole classes, small groups and individuals, i also completed my higher level teaching assistant so I was able to take whole classes when the teacher wasn't in. I am now working with ocean healthcare looking after children with complex needs this involves gastrostomy feeding , suctioning, Tracheostomy, sats monitoring , mediction administration.I have completed my level 3 Diploma in clinical care
My Qualifications
NVQ 3 Early years care and education
Higher level teaching assistant
I have completed all my on line training to work with children with complex needs and am up to date with manual handling, BLS, diploma level 3 in clinical care.
My Availability
I ideally would like to work during the week but prefer not to work over night, i don't mind working some evenings and occasional weekends .
