If your baby is still breastfeeding, extremely attached to you (and you feel it will be impossible to leave them) then trust me, Laura can help you both with this difficult transition. I was in the same position when my beloved baby was 11 months old.
I read lots of wonderful reviews about Laura and can't believe I am now writing one with my settled little boy at her house now, thriving, excited to see her, shouting "Laura!" all the way there in the car!
Laura is so welcoming and understanding. Her home has a wonderful feel and is a true home-from-home for your child; she welcomes them like they are one of the family and my son certainly feels like that now
The change from a baby of 11 months to a toddler is HUGE and Laura has been a genuine source of support the whole way. She has helped with his speech, his manners, his kindness, his confidence. He is now the most confident 19 month old at the park! At 11 months I couldn't leave the room without him getting so very upset. He is so confident now because he is used to playing with children at Laura's and they play so nicely together (the only problem is one day he will realise not all children are like that!).
Laura is very organised and professional, yet so caring at the same time. Your child will feel completely secure with her.

Laura has helped our whole family with the very emotional tear that was leaving my baby with a stranger. I now turn to her for advice and my son hugs her and just adores her. My four year old son loves Laura. She and her home are warm and welcoming.
My son loves the activities and time that Laura spends with him, engaging and being creative.
It's the little details that mean a lot e.g a personal hand print for Mother's Day.
I know that my son is safe, stimulated and very happy in Laura's care.

Having known Laura a long time Laura has looked after my 4 year old son Jacob on many occasions over the past 4 years, prior as a friend and also as a childminder. Jacob always looks forward to going to Laura's and doesn't want to come home when it's time to leave. He loves playing and joining in the activities she creates. Laura always has a smile on her face and makes you and the children feel welcome. I would definitely recommend her as a childminder.

My son absolutely loves every minute of his time with Ricey to the extent that it is always a battle to get him to leave. A child who never eats a whole meal at home-clears his plate very day! Not only does he take part in a wide range of imaginative activities and experiences, his manners, language development and social skills have come on leaps and bounds in the time he has been with Ricey. We will be leaving in Sept as our son starts nursery so snap up our full time place before it goes as you won't find a better child minder! I go to work every day knowing my son is in caring hands.

My little girl of 2.5 just loves her and so do I. Very helpful and although my daughter doesn't like when mum leaves her behind, with Ricey she is been absolutely happy since day 1.
When my daughter is with her I feel very relaxed as I do know she is safe, comfortable and very happy?
