About Me
My husband and I are both busy professionals. I am a musician and my husband is an English teacher. During term-times he works on Saturdays and sometimes I do too! We have a boy, 9 and a girl 6, both at school. They are fun, funny and easy-going (with other people at least!)
We also have a two-month old baby.
We are a musical, arty, family who love reading - the kids in particular!
My Requirements
We’re looking for a caring, reliable nanny to look after our baby (who will be around 7 months old) on Mondays and Tuesdays, 8am–5pm (end time tbc), term time only, starting late March or early April 2026.
You’ll need to be a driver with your own car, as the role includes school runs on both days.
We’d love to find someone warm, attentive and engaging, who enjoys spending time with babies and is happy to get out for walks or playgroups, as well as providing a calm, nurturing home environment. Some light meal prep for the children would also be part of the role.
Some ad hoc availability on other weekdays or occasional Saturdays would be a bonus, but not essential as, besides regular Mondays and Tuesdays, my schedule is different every week.
I would particularly like to hear from anyone who accepts payments from the Tax free childcare scheme.

Katy Green has been working for our family on an ad hoc basis since October 2023. As well as looking after the children at our home she has performed such duties as picking them up from school, dropping them at friends’ houses and taking them to various activities including swimming lessons. She has often had to cook an evening meal for them after school and on occasion get them ready for bed.
The children - a boy 8 and girl 5 - love her coming to look after them and love playing with her toddler daughter whenever Katy brings her along too. She has always been punctual and followed instructions, using her initiative when instructions were lacking in detail! We very quickly felt comfortable leaving the children with Katy and are able to go to work knowing the children are well looked-after, cared for and having fun!
