My Experience

For the past five years I have helped a family with three children between the ages of 3 and 13; references available on request. So I have cared for a range of ages.
This role has included cooking, cleaning, putting them to bed, taking them to the park, helping the children work through difficult emotions, arts & crafts, playing games, homework and educational sessions, sports. I'm very involved with the children, will go the extra mile to make sure they're enjoying themselves yet also well behaved.

I have also done one off babysitting for family members and friend's siblings.

I am punctual, reliable, polite and empathetic.

I am DBS checked, and have special needs training for autism - as I volunteered at the National Autism Society.
In my spare time, I volunteer at a women’s shelter as a cook - meaning I am certified in kitchen health and safety.

I have also been working in the NHS for several years, where employees must complete child safeguarding training and update it regularly.

My Qualifications

I studied BA International Comms and Media Studies with German at the University of Nottingham.
I have 3 A-levels, in Fine Art, Literature and Sociology and 11 GCSEs.

Babysitter: £11/hour
Household help: £12/hour
