To say I was worried about sending our 14 month old to a childminder or a nursery would be an understatement. My husband says that I am incredibly fussy and I research everything meticulously. He isn't wrong!

I found a few places which I thought would fit the bill and began the laborious task of visiting and vetting. Well, what a waste of time that was! No sooner had I met Julie, Clive and Sue at Jewels Childcare I knew it would be the right place for our little boy and my, I wasn't wrong! Not only do they have all the qualifications needed and more, plus years of experience, the setting itself is excellent and the care and attention given to my son is fantastic. This is evident every time I collect him as he's more than happy and doesn't really want to leave! The same is said for when I drop him off; he happily trundles in and immediately starts playing without a backward glance or a care in the world. This for me says it all. He's so happy there; learning and exploring new things, interacting and sharing with other children and most importantly, he's safe, secure within himself and the environment and is coming on leaps and bounds. Jewels Childcare have the right balance of play and learning. The setting is the stepping stone and the right mix between a childminder and a nursery so will more than prepare my little boy for his first day at school as well. And they feed him without me having to do a pack lunch! Julie prepares all the meals and snacks daily and they are always varied and very healthy. I couldn't be happier or recommend them enough and I am sure if my little boy could talk, he would agree wholeheartedly. Thank you Julie, Clive and Sue for making by return to work massively less stressful.
