Two Wonderful Years with Laura and Rob

We couldn't have asked for a better childcare setting for our child. He joined Laura and Rob when he was 2½ years old and stayed until he started school, spending a little over two wonderful years in their care. From day one, he absolutely loved it and looked forward to every day.
Laura and Rob created a warm, welcoming, and nurturing environment where he felt safe, valued, and happy. The care, patience, and dedication they showed were truly exceptional. They played a key role in helping him learn English, build his confidence, and develop important social, emotional, and practical skills. Through a wide variety of fun, engaging, and educational activities, every day brought new opportunities to learn, explore, and grow.
Over the time he spent with them, we saw a remarkable improvement in his confidence, independence, communication, and readiness for school. Laura and Rob took the time to understand his individual needs and interests, ensuring he received personalised attention, encouragement, and support throughout his development.
As parents, we always felt reassured and well-informed thanks to their excellent communication. Regular updates and photos gave us wonderful insight into his daily experiences, achievements, and progress, which we greatly appreciated.
Most importantly, our child felt genuinely happy, secure, and loved. The care and support he received over those two years played a huge part in preparing him for school and helping him grow into the confident young boy he is today.
We are incredibly grateful to Laura and Rob for everything they have done for our family and would recommend them without hesitation to any parent looking for a nurturing, professional, and caring environment for their child. ❤️

The Best Decision We Made for Our Daughter

We honestly couldn’t recommend Laura (and Rob) highly enough. They have been looking after our daughter since she was just four months old, and now, nearly four years later, she has become such a special and important part of our lives. They truly are our daughter’s second home - her home away from home.

Leaving your baby with someone for the first time is such a huge milestone as a parent, but from the very beginning we knew she was in the best possible hands. Laura has always been incredibly loving, caring and nurturing, and has given our daughter such individual attention and affection. The one-to-one care and smaller, homely environment have been wonderful for her, and we have loved watching her grow and flourish in such a warm and supportive setting.

Over the years, Laura has been there for so many of our daughter’s little milestones and big moments. She has helped her grow from a tiny baby into the happy, confident, funny and independent little girl she is today. It is clear that she genuinely cares about the children she looks after, gets to know them as individuals and takes great pride in helping them develop and thrive.

She has also always been incredibly flexible, understanding and supportive of us as parents. We have always felt that we could communicate openly with her and that she would do everything she could to support our family. That level of trust is priceless when someone is looking after your child.

Our daughter is now almost four and still absolutely loves going. She talks about her days there with such happiness, and we know that when she starts school, she is going to miss her, the other children and her little home away from home enormously. In many ways, it feels like the end of such a special chapter for us.

But we feel incredibly lucky that it isn’t quite goodbye. Her baby sister is due to arrive soon and will also be going to the Laura and Rob’s. There is no greater testament to how much we trust them than choosing them again for our second daughter. We are confident that they will give her the same love, care, attention and encouragement, and we can’t wait to see our youngest grow and flourish in the same environment.

We have recommended Laura to friends and family with children countless times, and we will continue to do so without hesitation. Finding someone you completely trust with your child is such a special thing, and we feel incredibly fortunate that we found her nearly four years ago.

Thank you for everything you have done for our daughter and for our family. We genuinely couldn’t have wished for a better person to care for her during these precious early years. We couldn’t recommend her highly enough.

Liquid Gold

Only way to describe Laur & Rob is LIQUID GOLD! After having an extremely underwhelmimg childminder I came to Laura & Rob with a heavy heart. They soon changed that! My baby comes home warm, happy and usually sings for about half an hour. The children have a safe & loving setting. The house is beautifully maintained. You can see from the photos just how happy the children are. Laura & Rob spend time teaching the children about the outside world using creative and fun activities. There dog Mason is so gentle and loving. My son is obsessed with him. I am lucky to have found them and cannot wait to see Vins development. Thank you Laura & Rob for offering my son the things I wouldnt be able too at home and helping him grow into a well rounded human being X

Outstanding Childminder

We are so happy with the care our daughter gets with Laura and Rob, their home is full of love and laughter and is a really special place for children to play and learn together. Our daughter talks about her time at Laura and Rob’s all weekend which highlights what fun she has there. The communication we receive is excellent, always knowing exactly what the children are up to and what they have eaten. We wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend this setting

Wonderful child minder

Laura and Rob have been wonderful over the past 6 months. My daughter is always excited to spend the day with them and their support and caring nature has made it much easier for me to return to work. They provide a very caring, supportive and fun home-from-home environment which is exactly why I was looking for. Their communication is excellent and the children have a wide variety of activities during the day, including plenty of time outside. I would highly recommend Laura and Rob for anyone looking for a reliable and caring childminder. Thank you for everything that you do.

Fantastic childminder

I really cannot recommend Laura and Rob enough. From the moment we went to visit the setting my husband and I just knew we wanted to send our son to them. Laura and Rob are so welcoming, warm, friendly, caring and accommodating. The setting is absolutely what we were looking for with a really lovely home from home feel. My son absolutely adores his time there with Laura, Rob and the other children, they always have so much fun and he has come on so well with his speech/social skills since being with them. The communication we receive is fantastic too, we’re always kept up to date with what they have been up to each day and sent daily photos. Very pleased and would highly recommend.

The best childminder around

Laura and Rob are fantastic childminders, so kind and caring. They’re dedicated to providing a friendly, loving, family oriented and fun environment for little ones. My daughter has come on leaps and bounds since being in their setting and absolutely loves being there. The support they offer to my little ones progress inside the setting and outside is second to none.

Amazing childminder

Laura and Rob are wonderful childminders my daughter was with them for 18 months and had the most wonderful, engaging, and happy time. They give a wonderful family feel, they are very warm and welcoming, so happy to have them look after my daughter. Would highly recommend!
