About Me
We are a family of 4 with 2 boys, Arthur (8) and Isaac (7), looking for a playful and patient after-school nanny who can collect the children from school, help with homework and supervise them whilst they play on Monday and Tuesday afternoons.
My Requirements
We are looking for someone to pick the boys up from Mill Hill School. Pick up is typically around 3.30 or 4pm. Their pick ups are a 15 minute walk apart, and are both 10 minutes walk from our house.
Arthur is in Year 4 and gets 10-15 minutes of homework, as well as having some music practice which he can do himself. Isaac is in Year 2, so he will usually read us his reading book and practice some spellings at the same time.
After that they are allowed some screen time and then to play. We would need someone until about 6.30.
We eat together as a family at around 6.30, so we will not need any food prep beyond a snack for the kids.

Nikki looked after our two boys (now 6 & 8) after school for just over 3 years until we moved out of the area.
Our boys warmed to Nikki straight away, and she is so patient and loving with them. They never let her leave without a big hug, and are always happy when we say it is a Nikki day on the way home from school! She puts so much thought into activities for them, creating all kinds of wonderful artwork, animals out of pipe-cleaners and so much more. As the children grew older she always found things to keep them entertained. They have made so many lovely memories with Nikki, and talk about her all the time, she is truly an honorary member of the family (she is always on the invite list for birthday parties)!
Additionally, as Nikki works with young children in nursery settings, she brings a wealth of experience in terms of educating little ones, and helped them with their phonics and writing, which was a real bonus!
We would have no hesitation at all in recommending Nikki, and the children she next looks after are very lucky!
