Aideen recommended her friend when I approached her for a job, who started the job. But when her friend found another job with more hours, just left the job with no notice and I am struggling now at the last minute, having called 100 people so far. Aideen's response, sometimes people have to be selfish. But surely, a person who is being trusted with children has to be honest, reliable and trustworthy and have some consientiousness towards work. I hope you and your friend don't let down people like this at the last minute.
