About Me

Hello, my name is Emma and I am a reception class teacher with many years of childcare experience.

I am a full time teacher but am available weekends, school holidays and occasional evenings. I am paediatric first aid trained and happy to do overnight care.

Since the completion of ny teacher training last year, I have worked in both mainstream education and special needs education, and am highly experienced in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

My Experience

I have been working in childcare for around ten years and have worked in various settings.
I have a great deal of experience in childcare, having worked in schools, nurseries, as a tutor, nanny, and as a children's activities coordinator in my most recent role of a Library Assistant.

My Qualifications

Paediatric first aid, degree in psychology and philosophy, Primary Teaching PGCE (Early Years specialism), extensive training in behaviour management and additional needs

Thank you for the positive side to your feedback!
Unfortunately, being let down by another client has meant that I was forced to return to a previous job and unable to commit to the three days that we had discussed. This was an unfortunate circumstance and through no fault of my own, however I am forced to do what I have to do ensure I can pay the rent, as anyone else does. Unfortunately, three days work a week would not have allowed me to do that.
I did my best to meet your requirements alongside my other job, and was happy to continue working with you until you found a replacement for me, and so have done all I feel I could have done considering the circumstances, even offering to give up a planned weekend away if necessary. I hope that this clears things up and ensures you that I did all I could to avoid letting you down.
