About Me
Hello, I am a registered Childminder who is fortunate enough to live on the door step of a local primary school. I live in a spacious four bedroom detached house with a secure, enclosed back garden. The child minded children have use of all the downstairs rooms which includes their own downstairs toilet and secure playroom.
I began childminding in 2005 when my first child was only three years of age. I also have qualifications and experience in supporting teaching and learning within schools.
I am registered on both the voluntary and compulsory childcare register.
Dilly-Dally Childcare now offers an evening babysitting service from 7p.m - 12p.m, seven days a week. Work or pleasure, you can put your mind at ease by knowing a professional childcare provider with an enhanced DBS and an update paediatric first aid qualification is taking care of your little one within your own home.

I have previous experience of supporting teaching and learning in a school and over 16 years as a registered childminder from 2005 - 2021
I also have gained the relevant qualifications required when registering as a childminder which is updated and current.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.00 per hour
- Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
For babysitting I have a minimum requirement of 4 hours per sitting.

Both my daughters absolutely love going to Julie’s house and have done since they first started attending 3 years ago. Julie is great with all the kids and they adore her. I’m not sure how she manages to look after so many different personalities and make sure they all get equal attention and care but she does! My eldest daughter asks to go to Julie’s house every day, she loves spending time there and is always sad when it’s time to leave. Julie always makes an effort for each child’s birthday with decorations, cake and a present which is just lovely.
She also decorates her home for festivities like Easter, Chinese New Year, Xmas etc. The girls love seeing the decorations and learning about other traditions.
Julie is so lovely and warm and I love knowing my Girls are well looked after in her care. Couldn’t wish for a better childminder for my children x

My son has been with Julie from 10 months old, he’s now 4!He still attends Julie’s and loved it! I was so upset to leave him and go back to work after maternity leave, but my son always went to her house happy. She sends lots of daily pics of all the activities they do, I like the fact these activities include learning. She treats my son as if he’s her own, I can see she genuinely cares deeply for him. She throws party’s for each child when it’s their birthday week, which I find so kind she buys the cake and makes it extra special. She takes the kids on days out. He always comes home so happy after a day at Julie’s that’s what matters to me. I feel confident leaving my child with Julie. Highly recommended childminder.

So my little boy has now been with Julie about 3 years,
I was a bit nervous at first changing child minders due to change in jobs.
I shouldn't of been nervous, Julie is the most down to earth and caring child minder out there.
She's will to go above and beyond to make sure all the children are happy.
During the holidays she plans days out for the children to go on adventures, to parks and attractions, when the older children at school she loves to take the little ones to play gyms.
She makes them lovely home cooked meals and ensures they have a well balanced diet while there.
While the pandemic has hit and schools have been closed, she also true to ensure the children have plenty of learning activities to do or school work that parents have sent it for them to do.
She has a lovely clean home, it's always spotless, she ensure the child have a lovely Clean and friendly environment to be in.
She is definitely highly recommended!
