I am a mother to 3 children (all in full time school), therefore have first hand experience of the developmental needs and educational demands of babies, toddlers and children.
I have a dedicated playroom at home, consisting of a variety of stimulating toys, books, arts and crafts equipment.
I aim to create a home from home experience differing from the busy nature of a nursery environment.
I can provide a unique and personalised experience so that your child feels nurtured, confident and secure in my setting while parents are away at work.
I will monitor your child's milestones and achievements. I follow The Early Years Foundation Stage (Educational guidelines set by Ofsted); with a variety of photos, and mark making paintings displayed within their Learning journal. Parents can therefore feel fully informed and involved in their child's progress.
In addition I also use Tapestry, an online programme to make reports of your child, regular observations including their development in all 7 EYFS areas and even an on line care diary of your childs daily eating, sleeping and toliet habits. Parents have access to their childs portal using the Tapestry app to view at their leisure.
I have a child friendly garden, including a large grass area, play house, slide and various other garden/outdoor play equipment to give your child plenty of physical stimulation.
I aim to take children out every day to attend a play group, library or park, woods or baby/toddler gymnastics class. I even schedule on a weekly, monthly or termly basis other activities including, farms, theatre and Zoo visits.
I have worked with Babies and children for the last 20 years in a teaching capacity. Through this I understand baby and toddler's developmental stages and reflexes. I have had the pleasure of teaching parents ways to instill confidence and bond but in a fun learning environment.
I have a BA Degree with Honours and have worked in education with 2 mainstream Awarding Bodies.
I have learnt skills and specialise in risk assessing. I therefore can lead fun and structured play sessions and activities while maintaining a safe and fun teaching environment for babies and children.
With my wealth of knowledge and experience I am therefore able to apply it to my own home environment, to make sure your child has a fulfilling and unique experience.
I am a Level 3 Ofsted Child Minder. I also have a current Safeguarding certificate and DBS clearance. I hold a St Johns Ambulance First Aid Paediatric certificate.
I have a clean and Full Driving License.
Full time and part time availability.

I meet Danielle about one year ago she than was on a hands on to pick up my daugter from nursery and look after her while I m at work , ,,A" loved there , Danielle always was thinking of originaising something for kids.. farm trips art centres parks, garden pool :) After summer when my daugter start full time education Danielle was still verry kind and take ,,A" on half terms ..there is always lots of fun around they house and ,,A" is always exited to go back :) :)I am really happy that I find and chouse Danielle :)
Danielle is great, very reliable, very friendly and accommodating. Her house is very clean and well kept, suited for all ages. She's been looking after our 1.5 year old for a few months and I'd highly recommend her.
Danielle has been looking after my son since he was 4 months old. He is excited to go every single day and greets me with a huge smile when I pick him up. It is most important for me that my son feels loved and I genuinely feel like Danielle treats him as part of the family. She manages to be both professional and loving and caring.
Her home has a quiet room for resting periods and a play room with lots of stimulating toys as well as a big garden which my son loves in particular.
I'm so happy I found Danielle and I cannot recommend her enough.
