About Me

Learning needs to be relevant and fun, delivered in a way that the student likes to learn. That way, he or she will! If that means conjugating verbs as a rap or dancing to vocabulary, so be it! I'm an experienced teacher and tutor who enjoys what she does.

If you need someone who can teach but also understand your child’s needs and worries, building my a rapport with them so as to support their academic success, please do get in touch.

I’m a teacher who has several years’ experience in the SEND department of a mainstream secondary school.

Through my work with students with SLCN (Speech, Language and Communication Needs), I have experience of teaching across the curriculum at secondary level. I teach study skills and supoort students with many of their subjects for GCSE

Modern foreign languages and English as a Second Language are also a specialism.
Through my work with students with SEND, I have a therapeutic approach which is innate. It is unsurprising that I worked as an ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant) at a secondary school and frequently used my counselling skills.
