My daughter loves Nina and so do we

Reviewed

When my daughter first started with Nina she was just 10 months and I had all the anxiety that can come with ending maternity leave and going back to a career. It was enormously reassuring to see how quickly she settled and how her arms would open wide for a cuddle and a smile beamed across her face whenever she saw Nina in the mornings.

Nina’s home is a clean, laughter-filled, comfortable family environment - that ‘home-from-home’ that I searched for around a few settings before an effusive parent put me in touch with Nina.
She is very relaxed and confident at Nina’s and gets the routine - activities, nutritious meals and (when she was younger) a self-settling nap - that she thrives on.

My daughter loves eating Nina’s healthy, home cooked meals and snacks with great relish - I enjoy finding out what she’s loved eating in the day, especially any new flavours, and then trying to replicate it at home.

I love the daily updates and weekly photos of the activities my LO has loved doing, from messy mark making at home to farm trips, playgroups and forest play. Nina is dedicated to helping her develop new independent skills and interests, whether it’s safely climbing steps or gentle sharing with the other children. Since being with Nina, my partner and I have seen our daughter developing at a tremendous rate, which was picked up in her health visitor reviews and at preschool induction. Nina encourages an open sharing of any new developments and challenges that my LO is going through which means she gets wonderfully consistent, informed care at ours and Nina’s homes.

Both my partner and I felt anxious when my maternity leave was ending to find someone who could be like a ‘third parent’ to our little daughter on our work days. We are relieved and so grateful to have found this person in Nina.
