About Me
Hi, my name is Wendy and I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder residing in Ash Vale, near Aldershot, Hants. I live in a two bedroom house which has a separate Playroom and downstairs toilet. I go on daily outings with the children, including local parks, lovely walks along the canal and exploring Ash Woods. The children have great fun exploring and collecting sticks!! We do lots of Arts and Craft activities as well as baking and gardening.
Throughout the day I will send you What's App photos/videos to show you what we are doing.
I accept the 30 hours a week Government Funding and Tax Free Childcare Scheme.
I enjoy all aspects of childcare and have fun whilst doing a very worthwhile and enjoyable job. I have spaces for a baby and a toddler from September 2026. The days I offer are Monday - Thursday. Please do not hesitate to contact me for further information.
Please take into consideration I do not do Nursery/ School drop offs or pick ups.

Wendy has been taking care of my daughter since she was 8 months old and we cannot be more grateful that we found her for our family. Wendy has been so incredibly patient, kind and supportive of me as a first time mum who was so worried and anxious leaving my baby with anyone. My daughter thrives in Wendy's care, she has learnt so much, is so loved and taken care of, the activities they do look incredible and they go outdoors a lot which was important to us. My daughter is happy going to Wendy everyday with open arms and is always laughing and happy when we collect her. Wendy's care for our entire family has been above and beyond and we couldn't be more grateful for her. There is no one else we trust with our child and future children.

Wendy has been looking after my son for a couple of months now and I never feel worried leaving my son with her. My son smiles as soon as he sees her and is very happy when I pick him up - it is obvious he has had a good time and been well looked after.
Wendy was flexible with settling in sessions and provided updates on my sons day (food, naps, activities, how he is) for his mother & I to feel at ease and involved.
Wendy's relationships with all of the children she looks after is lovely as often his mother & I sometimes see other children on drop offs/collections.
I love that Wendy takes my son out for fresh air and exploring every day and there is a clear routine which allows lots of free play, structured play and social interaction for my son with the other toddlers/babies.

My son has been with Wendy full time since he was 10months old. He is now nearly 2 and still delighted every morning when he is dropped off. Wendy has been a godsend. George had been enrolled at a nursery but he was really struggling with the settling sessions (Covid, so I couldn’t be there). It was so much easier with Wendy and we were all happy from the start. She has been super with his routine and he always eats and naps well.
Every morning they all go for a walk in the woods and play with sticks/jump in puddles and George often comes home with a goodie bag of his arts and crafts. He is also doing really well with his manners and his sharing and is very outgoing.
For anyone looking for a lovely homely setting, Wendy is your lady!
