I am a really energetic, happy person that has a passion for working with kids.
My previous role working with children was as a live-in nanny in France.
I have lots of hobbies and interests that involve keeping fit such as; skiing; horse riding; rock climbing; swimming and hiking. As a live-in nanny I was involved with introducing some of these hobbies to the children, which has been an amazing experience!
I also love to cook/ bake which is a fun thing to involve the kids in aswell.
My Experience
I have spent August 2016- July 2017 working as a live-in nanny for a family in France. The children were 3 and 5 years old so I do have experience working with younger kids.
I spent the summer of 2015 working at a Girls Scout camp in Georgia, America. I worked as an Equine Unit Leader (the camp version of a manager) and was in charge of around 10-20 girls from the ages of 7-17. I was also their horse riding instructor. This was a challenging and rewarding experience as I really feel I helped make their summers amazing.
I was also previosuly a summer au pair in Normandy in France (2013) where I looked after 2 and 4 year old kids for 2 months. This was my first experience looking after children in their home setting and i found it really enjoyable.
More recently I ran the barn at a summer camp teaching horse riding to children ages 5-16.
My most up to date experience has actually been working at a doggy day care. So something a little different!
My Qualifications
I don't hold any current relevant qualifications. I obtained a disclosure certificate for when I was working in America and would be willing to get another should the need arise.
