My name is Sabrina Rasib and I would like to welcome you to ‘Little Bloomer’s Childminding’.
I have been working in Childcare for just over 5 years. I began my childcare qualification in 2014 where I worked in a Montessori nursery in London. During my time as a nursery practitioner I was able to gain an understanding of children and how to support them to develop according to the EYFS.
I was soon promoted to Room Leader/ Deputy manager; this was because of hard work and determination which I portrayed in my role. I enjoy spending time with children and shaping their minds; supporting them to become successful individuals.
I moved to Peterborough in December 2016 and married my husband Nazakat, we live together in a lovely house near to the city Centre. After moving in the area, I began working in a nursery where I was a Room Leader, through here I was able to gain skills in supporting children with English as a second language (EAL) and met many families of different origins. I was also able to gain experience working with children who had special needs as well as children from primary schools in an after school club.
This is when I decided I was ready to take my passion to another level and start my own childcare business. Being a newly wed, I wanted to balance my home life and work life whilst putting my skills to good use. I found that being a Childminder would be the ideal job for me. I then started my Home based childcare qualification and here I am now.
My husband and I welcomed a beautiful baby girl in October 2018 who is now our youngest member of Little Bloomers.
I am a very outgoing person which supports me in my role as I do not lack confidence in getting my hands dirty and experimenting with different textures and messy play. I enjoy the outdoors and always jump at the chance to bring learning in the natural world, I believe children can learn a lot through outdoor play. I will often go out for walks with my Husband in order to keep fit; this is something I like to encourage in children to develop their gross motor skills.
I am a very creative person and so will always find activities children can explore through painting and materials. In my spare time I make bridal bouquets for new brides; this is something that I enjoy doing and brings out my artistic side.

Sabrina has been caring for all 4 of my children for some time now and I could honestly not be happier!! She is caring and thoughtful as well as diligent, efficient and organised. My children love her so much and enjoy all of the games, activities and learning that they experience when they visit her each day (They often don't want to leave).
Sabrina provides my children with a wonderfully structured day and I have full trust in her. She provides me daily updates through the progress up on what they have been doing including pictures and videos and a detailed report on naps and foods eaten. To add further, Sabrina provides nutritious and delicious snacks that my children are always coming home and asking me to get for them.
If you want a superb childminder who you can trust and who will create a home from home environment for your children, then I'd most definitely recommend Sabrina.
