My name is Aimée and I am looking to join a family in helping them with a morning school run and day time nannying around Peckham, Camberwell, Elephant and Castle area. If you’re a new mum and need an extra pair of hands in the day or need some help getting the kids to school first thing I can be there. I currently have flexible mornings. I can help out with tidying and laundry and am more than happy to cook. I am very comfortable with newborns and smaller children, happy changing nappies, doing bath times and meal times. In regards to my availability, I currently look after a lovely five year old boy four afternoons a week doing his school run. I am available on Monday’s all day and for the rest of the week in the mornings till just after lunch time. My afternoons can be flexible and slightly rearranged if necessary, my current family are very accommodating.
I am well mannered, responsible and love playing. I love engaging in creative play, exploring how children interact through creative means. I also find it to be a great bonding experience and conversation starter and something we can share in brightening our imaginations.
I am DBS checked, have undergone full safeguarding training and have excellent references. I hold a full clean driving license. I am bilingual in French and English.
For four years I was a volunteer youth leader for my local youth organisation leading residential summer camps for children aged 11 to 16. Additionally I also worked with small children on their day camp for children aged three to five. Prior to university I consistently worked with a family for a year taking care of their three children. I was responsible for taking the three year old to nursery whilst spending the day with their 6 months old baby. After completing my degree in Cornwall I returned to London and worked again with several families babysitting. Since January 2019 I have been volunteering with The Happy Baby Community, it is a day group once a week working closing with trafficking survivors and their young children. We have up to 60 mothers and their babies every Monday. My roles include engaging in play, initiating group activity and creating a warm and supporting environment for the families that use our services. Through this experience I have gained a full DBS check and safeguarding training. More recently, I worked closely with a family in North London with regular school picks up for a lovely seven year old boy.
