I am a caring and experienced childcare provider looking for a sole charge position from January 2024 when I will have full time availability.
Dear parents,
My name is Samira and I am 33 years old with more than 7 years of experience as a nanny and babysitter. I’ve worked with different families with children ranging in age from 3 months to 10 years in North London. I am used to working with more than one child, and most of the families I’ve worked with have more than 1 including babies and toddlers.
I am a hard working person, and I always put 100% into my job, because I’m truly passionate about looking after children.
Most of the families whom I have worked with describe me as patient, reliable, responsible and above all trustworthy. I simply love being around children - it’s not only a job for me, but also my passion. Nothing gives greater joy than to watch children under my care grow and develop.
My Experience
I normally spend the mornings either helping with the school or nursery run, or taking the children to local activity classes, parks/playground, libraries, or going for a walk. When the weather is not so good, I do indoor activities such as taking the children to soft play or home activities such as puzzles/lego or baking.
I cook healthy and fresh food for the children I look after, and I provide healthy snacks. I have worked with children with special dietary requirements, including vegan. My motto is “be prepared” - I always have a grab bag prepared for the children with everything that they need - from nappies, to snacks, to water. I’m very organised and can help keep the children’s clothes and toys nicely organised.
Good hygiene is very important to me. Without needing to be asked, I’ll ensure that I look after their hygiene and grooming, including cutting the children's nails, making sure that hands are washed after they come home, and also before and after meals.
In the afternoons, depending on whether it’s a nursery / school day or not, I normally do pick up, or go the park / soft play or take children to their activities. Then I prepare dinner and help with bath time.
I do light housekeeping which includes tidying the play area, doing the children's laundry and loading dishwasher.
When I babysit, I prepare dinner, help with bath time, and then play with children. If the children are younger, I’ll do story time with them and put them to bed. With older children, we may watch TV together or play a game. I have a lot of experience with putting babies and toddlers down for their daytime nap and for sleep in the evening.
I firmly believe that a happy child will have the best chance of success in life. Therefore I make every effort to keep the environment and ambience around children safe, secure and positive. When a child throws a tantrum, or is angry and upset, I always stay calm and let them know that I’m here to emotionally support them. Sometimes, if a boundary needs to be drawn I will do so firmly, but kindly. The thing that motivates me the most in this field is watching children grow and achieving their development milestones, which I believe happens best when a child feels truly secure.

Samira has been a wonderful babysitter for our daughter, who is now 7 years old. While we only had the opportunity for her to watch our daughter a few times in the last couple of years, we couldn't have been happier with her care. Samira is dependable, kind, and trustworthy. Samira has babysat for my two daughters (now ages 11 and 9) over the past four years. She is nurturing, trustworthy, organised and diligent. Most importantly, my girls absolutely love spending time with her! She is a fantastic cook and always leaves the house looking better than when she arrives ;). I am happy to highly recommend Samira!

Samira has babysat for my two children several times over the last few years, after a recommendation from a friend. I couldn’t recommend Samira more highly - she is kind, professional, punctual and really engages with the kids. My daughter in particular can be quite shy and Samira was able to gently bring her out of her shell and make her feel comfortable. I am very happy to recommend Samira.

Samira has been looking after my daughter on and off for 8 years. She started collecting her from school when she was 4 and still babysits for her now 8 years later. She has brought my daughter to the park, to adventure playgrounds, ball pools and other fun places for younger kids. Now they play games and listen to music together. She’s a great cook too.
Samira is dependable, trustworthy, nurturing and kind. My daughter loves her sense of fun and also her creative imagination. As a mother I feel lucky to have met Samira. Samira is highly academically qualified for the position of nanny as she has studied early childhood development. I would happily recommend Samira for any family. Honestly you’ll be thankful that you’ve met such a trusting, kind and caring nanny.

Samira was my daughter's nanny for 2.5 to 3 years. My daughter was pretty young 4 years old, just starting reception and she was pretty reserved and didn't really hit it off with other nannies in the past. It was completely different with Samira. Samira made an effort to befriend my daughter, she played with her, took her back and forth from school, prepared delicious meals, arranged play dates and activities with other nannies+kids in my daughter's class.
It was such a relief for me as Samira would think of most things, organise all my daughter's social activities and also stimulated her through play and learning time.
Samira is the gentlest, kindest nanny one can hope to have and I highly recommend her. I am also happy to speak if you need more info. Samira can provide my details.
