My daughter has been with Zulekha two days a week since March 2025 just before she turned 1. Zulekha was very considerate from the outset wanting us to look around at other childminders to make sure we found someone who suited our family. She has definitely shown time and again that hers is the right setting for our daughter and us. My daughter started calling her mummy for a time showing how happy and safe she felt before she had developed the vocabulary to say Zulekha.

Zulekha is very flexible taking our lead were we request and then giving us advice when we ask for it. I really appreciate her consistency to exposing the children to a healthy and wide range of different foods. During our settling period she was doing baking with the children to help one of them, who had become more picking with their food, grow the variety of food they felt comfortable eating. When my daughter was struggling to settle at her nursery Zulekha changed their normal routine so they could go to the childminder play sessions at her nursery each week and be in the space with someone she already felt safe with.

We really love that Zaytouna's is a home setting as our daughter has come to love her and her family and it feels like a really nurturing environment that has allowed her to develop so much.
Zulekha is one of the main reasons I am hesitant to consider moving out of the area so my daughter can stay in her care for as long as possible.
