My name is Linzi and I am 35years old. I have 3 children who are 7, 4 and 1 years old. I live in Kenilworth with my husband and Children.
I am an Ofsted registered childminder after working within the West Midlands Police for the 17 years. I started my new adventure in September 2018 and since then have gained so much experience already.
I have provided care for children aged between 6months till the age of 7 as well as raising my own.
As a childminder I use a relaxed approach as I would with my own and follow their lead with activities whilst giving them the encouragement to grow in the 7 areas of learning.
I want the children I care for to be polite and kind to each other and promote good manners and respect for themselves and others. They will be welcomed into my home and given the best possible start to fulfil their full potential.
I use an online system to track each child's progress with plenty of photos so parents are able to log on and see what their child has been up too.
It will also keep track of meals, nappy changes, naps, etc..
My home has a play area with a variety of toys and a large garden so children can play inside or outside.
I attend local playgroups and parks and on occasions provide days out to the zoo, museums, farms etc in school holidays.
I am Ofsted registered after completing the relevant childcare training.
I finished working for the West Midlands police in August 2018.
I worked there for the past 17 years in various departments, I worked as an operator in the control room before I left to start my role as a childminder.
My experiences have come from raising my own children who are 7, 4 and 1. Before going onto maternity in July 2019 I cared for children mainly under the age 4 and then children after school. I provide healthy snacks and nutritious meals if required.
I also help out as a volunteer at my daughters school as and when I can.

I have found Linzi to be an excellent childminder with great enthusiasm to look after small children. Although she has recently set up her business, she has a detailed knowledge of the early years curriculum and established a warm rapport with my baby instantly. She is extremely organised and has all systems set up record progress as well as a perfect environment to care for children.
