My daughter loved the Forest School sessions at St Helen's ("Little Stars")...twice a week they go out into the local green spaces and woodland (sometimes using the St Helen's CE Primary School dedicated Forest School areas). The leaders are very good with outdoors activities (they also do a "Field Friday" morning) and getting the children to try different things (camp fires and marshmallows were an end of term highlight!!!). The music Tuesdays were also great as it built upon her rhythm and singing interests from other groups she used to attend. A lot of the things she learnt at Pre-School have carried on into the Reception Class, as the geography of the Pre-School being across the road from St Helen's school is backed up by the links between the leaders and the Reception class team. 5 stars!
