We have had our little one (22 month old) with Cat for just over 4 months now, during which we have been completely blown away by how amazingly she has cared for our daughter. Her setting is really like a second home, and we completely trust Cat to be doing everything she can to help our daughter grow and thrive at a fundamental time in her development.
When we were first considering a childminder, due to increasing costs of nursery, we were apprehensive, but Cat (and her amazing husband and two brilliant little girls) met with us, put our minds at rest, and showed us that this would be an amazing place for our little one to continue her development. From that first meeting, Cat has been completely transparent, communicating as clearly and regularly as any nursery (if not more). Her contract was clear, and very reasonable, offering us term time only care to meet our needs, and talking us through the funding options (tax free childcare and funded hours on full offer).
When Cat was unfortunately hospitalised, she maintained that amazing communication through her husband (in spite of us all telling her that her health was more important than our childcare needs), demonstrating just how much she cares for each and every child in her care, and works her hardest to always do what is right by the children and parents.
If you are looking at Cat, and are lucky enough to find she has space, trust us, it would be the right choice to pick her for your own child.
