About Me
Hello. I was a special needs teaching assistant at a school in Harborne until recently moving to Bangor to get settled in before starting a masters course in September 2022. I am looking either for something full time or for a part time role to subsidise my income a little and help to save for my education. I am especially experienced with younger children, love to be creative and energetic. Please get in touch if you are looking for someone who loves to play hide and seek, get a bit messy, spend lots of time outdoors and make sure your children are well looked after and having fun! I am also able to do private tutoring!

My Experience
I spent two summers working on a special needs summer camp in America as a general counsellor. This involves full personal care of both adults and children with a range of developmental disabilities. It also means having the privilege of working with individuals to make their summer experience great fun with activities such as arts and crafts, campfire songs and swimming (what could be better right?!). Everyday was about having the most amount of fun possible, inventing new games and songs or coming up with stories and making everything into an adventure. I really enjoy encouraging children to be creative and think this experience helped teach me a thing or two about how to be engaging (as we were often tasked with looking after pretty big groups!).
In terms of baby sitting through this site I have looked after an absolutely adorable 9 month old several days a week for the duration of some of my degree. I have also done some work for an OFSTED registered childminder and in a nursery.
My Qualifications
BSc in Neuropsychology (1:1), A levels - biology, chemistry and maths.
120 hour TEFL qualified.
My Availability
Any time - at the moment I am fully flexible as I occasionally tutor from home (was taking a short break as I have only just moved). This may change once I secure full time work.

Kaitlin looked after our 9 month old baby for several days a week during the autumn of 2019, and from the moment we first met her, we knew our little one was in incredibly warm, capable, and caring hands. Kaitlin is everything you could ever want in a babysitter, exhibiting that perfect (but difficult to find!) mix of warmth and competence. Our only regret is that we aren't able to use her amazing services still, as we have moved abroad. If you are looking for incredibly wonderful childcare for your child or baby in North Wales, you can do no better than hiring Kaitlin!
