Before I found Raising Stars Childminding, I had checked several local nurseries and childminders. The nurseries were an instant no as it felt like institutionalising an infant, poor staffing and a hugh turnover meaning children struggle with attaching to a consistent key worker. Childminders seemed a better option- regular, consistent, attentive care givers in my absence. I had seen a few childminders prior to meeting Sukeina and wasnt quite sure. It seemed like a lot of trust to place in a person.
Then I found her on this website and arranged a visit. She has a way with kids and my daughter felt comfortable straight away. We were happy with the home away from home setting and the biggest thing was the values and ethos of Raising stars. She takes her responsibility to the kids and parents extremely seriously and is diligent and attentive. She is highly experienced and skilled as an early years practitioner and was a deputy manager for a nursery previously. She had my daughter settled in under a month. No tears at drop off.

The focus on her learning and development has been brilliant. My daughter sees her as family and looks forward to Mondays- playing with Auntie Kina and her friends.
Now that I've found a childcare solution I trust i will be sure to use Raising stars for any children in the future too. We have to move house and upsize and because of how happy we are to have found raising stars, we will be looking to remain within the area.

My daughter is confident, happy and well looked after.

The setting- Good facilities. Lovely garden and the outbuilding nursery is lovely.

Cleanliness- well maintained.

Food-
My picky eater eats a wonderful variety at raising stars. They are extremely careful with things like allergies also.

Communication-
Responsive to messages. Sukeina communicates with parents appropriately.
