I am based in Kempshott, Basingstoke. I believe that children need a loving, warm environment with activities suited to their interests. I use a variety of indoor and outdoor experiences – we have a dedicated play room, a secure garden and are close to several local parks. I also love sharing my passion for books and have a well stocked library. Songs and music are integral to the day. We enjoy crafts and messy play and I encourage free expression. We share meals at our dining room table with suitable seating according to their age.
I have a 3 year old son and 6 year old son who attends school. My husband and I are both DBS checked.
My Experience
I have 10 years of primary school teaching experience. I am used to tailoring a child's day to make it enjoyable and enriching.
Family members also have food allergies, so I am familiar with the considerations needed to prepare meals for children with allergies.

I moved my almost 4 year old to Diane from another childminder in September last year and he has come on so much further than I could ever have imagined. I was extremely anxious about moving him, but I really didn’t need to be. Diane has given him confidence, and taught him so many things-it blows my mind what things he comes out with! Diane and the children are always out and about exploring, and I get daily updates and photos of what they’ve been getting up to. I can’t wait to continue with her for many years to come!

We have been sending our little boy to Diane since he was about 10 months old, he is nearly 2 now. He loves it there!! Diane is so great at communicating what he is doing throughout the day, they are always out and about going to parks or doing fun things at home. I'm so pleased we found Diane and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone.
