When it came to choosing childcare for our daughter, we already knew where we wanted her to go. My sister’s daughters had both attended this setting, so we had seen first-hand the quality of care they provide. Our daughter started at just 10.5 months old and is now almost 3, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice.

The setting is run by a wonderful mother-daughter team who bring different strengths, ideas and experiences to create a really rich variety of learning and play. The mother is a qualified Early Years teacher with over 30 years of classroom experience, and her professional expertise is evident in the quality and thought behind what they do.

What really stands out is the effort they put into making learning fun. Through crafts, songs, imaginative play, hands-on activities and exploring nature — including watching caterpillars transform into butterflies — they create opportunities for children to learn through curiosity and play. There are so many activities that we often find ourselves thinking, “I wish we could do this at home!” Knowing our daughter is experiencing all of this makes us so happy.

The small, mixed-age environment, with babies through to 3- and 4-year-olds, has also been wonderful for her. She has learnt to interact with children of different ages while building confidence, independence and social skills.

The team are kind, professional and genuinely attentive to each child. The small setting means they know the children as individuals and can really focus on their personalities, interests and development. It is a place where children are not just cared for, but thoughtfully nurtured.

Our daughter is thriving, and we feel incredibly lucky to have found this setting. We trusted them with our first child, and our next baby will be joining them too — which probably says everything about how highly we regard them.
