My Summary
About Me
I live in Cubbington with my family.
We have fabulous local parks, toddler groups, farm parks etc.
We enjoy memberships to National Trust properties to explore in the fresh air and Compton Verney who have wonderful grounds and super toddler sessions weekly. These enable the children to socialize in larger groups & develop confidence & independence and try new challenges. We often meet up with fellow childminders.
Here, the children enjoy arts and craft activities both indoors & outdoors, baking, puzzles, small world & free play etc. We have a large secure garden where the children enjoy access to outdoor fun, water/mud/sand play, balance beams, bug hunting & various birds nesting in the Ivy & feeding. We enjoy growing fruit and veg to encourage healthy eating, but the emphasis is always on having fun as we learn in a home from home environment.
Looking after our parrot & guinea pigs helps teach the children about the responsibility of caring for pets. We also have 2 small dogs who are kept separate during working hours.
My Experience
Two children of my own!! I have been a registered childminder since November 2007.
I have cared for many wonderful families over the years, and helped over 50 children develop & grow. To be a part of their lives from arriving as very young toddlers, to watching them fly as they leave for school, ready to take on future challenges and school life, is both an honour and a privilege.
My Qualifications
NVQ 3 in Children's Care, Learning and Development, plus previous school/college & professional qualifications in Business, Finance & Training.
I have had five Ofsted inspections to date, all of which resulted in a 'GOOD.' Reports are readily available on the Ofsted Website, or I can provide copies.
I continue to attend personal development training courses & conferences as they are made available by the Early Years team and read a variety of Childcare publications to keep up with current legislation/ideas etc.
I recently completed the Time to Talk training, which supports me to monitor and assess speech and language development.

Availability can change at any time, so please contact me to discuss your requirements. Will only be offering school holiday/teacher training days from January 2027.
Hours of work are 8.30am-5.30pm.
My Fees
- Childminding from £8.00 per hour
£55 a day fully inclusive (trips, meals and snacks). No additional charges. Tax free childcare payments accepted.
