I am currently employed as a Residential Child Care Officer and babysitter. I am ideally looking to do full time nannying or babysitting, although I am open to part time or occasional work.I support and I am very knowledgeable about working with individual children and young people with autism, challenging behaviour, profound multiple and single learning disabilities and complex health needs. I enjoy working holistically, one-to-one and as a team with staff to care for service users.
I am a qualified paediatric nurse whom has studied and obtained a masters level diploma in child nursing. I have worked with infants and children ages 0-19 years. Previous to this I studied and was awarded, a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology with honours, where I focused upon child and infant development. This included placements as a support assistant within a mainstream and non-mainstream school. Prior occupational experience encompassed employment on a general paediatric ward and placements within accident and emergency, outpatients and intensive care. I am DBS checked and active on the online update system. I am currently undertaking my level three diploma in children and young people in residential services and I am up to date with all training.
