About Me
Hello, my name is Jadene. I am extremely passionate about childcare and child development. I believe there is no job more important than raising, teaching and guiding the adults of the future. I love helping littles ones become the amazing people they are destined to be, by encouraging them to follow their hearts and do the things they love always!
When I am not nannying I am acting and performing. I find my background within the performing arts makes me an excellent candidate for the job. I always use my skills to not only entertain the children in my care (regularly singing them songs) but also to inspire their own creativity. Many of my past charges have grown to love singing, acting and dancing and have a true passion for performing. It is a joy to see this love pass on to them and become a shared experience between us.
Using my training in Early Years Education, I focus on the children’s development through child-led play and exploration. I allow children to guide their own play and find their independence, as it is so important to nurture their imagination. I like to follow a Montessori approach and try to adapt the environment to better help the child.
My Experience
I have been working in childcare since 2013. I spent 3 years working at Bright Horizons nurseries before moving on to private Nannying.
I have cared for children as young as 3 days - 16 years old. Including three sets of twins. I cared for one set for a month from when they were 6 weeks old. Another set from 5 months - 11 months, and the third set from 1 year - 3 years old.
I also previously volunteered for a charity called Multiple Milestones, where I got to support a family with 12 week old triplets. As you may be able to tell I absolutely love working with twins and multiples.
My Qualifications
I have a Level 3 Certificate in Early Years Education. I’m fully DBS checked and have a certificate in First Aid. I also have a full driving license and my own car.
My Availability
I currently work for a wonderful family (3 year old girl and 14 month old boy, who I have cared for since he was born) and am looking to reduce my hours to 3 days with them, freeing me up for a Thursday and Friday role. Please get in touch if you are looking for a Nanny for 15-20 hours over those 2 days.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £21.00 per hour
- Nannying from £21.00 per hour (gross)
Rate is negotiable based on hours

Jadene helped me out when I had a newborn and a 2 year old - I'm a single parent and she helped me navigate dinner, bath and bed time in those early months. She was great at settling the baby and helped us establish a good evening routine. She was willing to do whatever was needed with the baby, the toddler or helping out around the house.
Now the children are a little older I use Jadene for ad hoc babysitting and nannying, she is always punctual and reliable, she has a very chilled energy and is a calming presence in our home. I feel happy with her taking the children out or just playing at home and she manages all naps/meals etc with confidence. They love hanging out with her and are always really happy to see her. She's also very good with safety around eating, baby sleep, etc etc so I feel like they are in the best hands.

Jadene helped us with our (at the time) 4 month old. She was fantastic. Very relaxed, excellent singing, kept him fully engaged/stimulated by playing with sensory toys. Was very knowledgeable and aware on the latest health and safety guidance, which was reassuring. Followed instructions for his feeding. Highly recommend!

Jadene was a nanny for our twin boys for 2 years from age 1 to 3. She spent 4 days a week with the boys and was fully responsible for all their activities, food and cuddles through out the day :) Jadene would be a great addition to any family, she’s creative and always comes up with fun educational activities for the kids. She’s not afraid to try new things and has lots of energy. She’s also got super twin skills after 2 years with my very energetic boys.
It was lovely to have Jadene with us and we definitely miss having her about.
