Although she was stylish and has a “good CV”🤞, but these are not reflected at all in the core job that she should do! As a mother, I don’t recommend her as she is not responsible, not punctual and not respectful at all. After she came to my house and we agreed for everything about my autistic child and sat up an account for for transferring money, she suddenly disappeared and she doesn’t answer at all. From my experience, such people are not reliable and are not trustworthy.
Response by JSamBPlym on 13/01/2019:
Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. I’m sorry you had a bad experience. I understand that it can be a long, frustrating process trying to find a suitable childcare provider, but I ask that you please try to be patient and honest in the future.
It was lovely to meet with you and your family in December. You appeared happy with our meeting and offered me the job, pending confirmation from your funding provider. I provided the details you required for the application, and we mutually agreed to confirm start dates in due course. No contract or payment account was set up.
Unfortunately, I did not hear from you and no date was arranged. This is not uncommon for childcare providers to experience, so I assumed there was a delay in your application or you had chosen to hire another provider.
Your demands have since seemed to differ from what was discussed at the initial meeting and there are significant safeguarding concerns.
I try my best to respond to all queries as soon as possible, however I am not available 24/7 and cannot respond during unsociable hours. I have responded to all messages from you in my Childcare.co.uk inbox, save for the unfortunate final message which I have reported due to its threatening nature. I reserve the right to not answer any message which constitutes harassment.
I have been pretty shaken up after some communications I have received from you. The hostility and insults you directed at me were very uncalled for. Unfortunately, because of this, even if my availability matched your requirements I’m afraid I wouldn’t be able to work with you.
I will not commence childcare for a child whose parents or carers have been aggressive and/or used threatening language towards me. Additionally, like all childcare providers, I reserve the right to refuse employment where I believe my personal data, or that of a child's, is likely to be abused. It would be irresponsible of me to accept a job which may put myself and any children in my care at risk.
With that said, I’m sorry again that you felt you had a bad experience, and wish you the best of luck in your childcare search.
