My name is Jess and I am 20.
Taking care of children has always been a passion of mine, as I enjoy being around them and helping them. I find that the most rewarding part of working with children is how funny they are; I always find myself laughing with them.
My Experience
I've had a lot of experience with children.
I have completed a level 3 apprenticeship in childcare, working at a nursery with 6-24 months.
I grew up being the oldest of 7. 4 sisters and 2 brothers, which I have all taken care of at one point or another, along with cousins. The oldest I've babysat for is 15 and the youngest being a newborn.
I have also worked with children, at a rock climbing centre, teaching them to climb, and helping them overcome bravery and watching them go from being terrified to scaling up the walls freely.
My Qualifications
I have done a level 3 apprenticeship in childcare. I have a Level 1 Catering Diploma, so I have done multiple food safety and hygiene courses and I'm able to cook meals. I also have a level 3 art and design UAL
I have done first aid courses both on NCS and in the workplace.
