Looking for an after-school nanny in East London (Olympic Park, E20)

We are a positive, friendly, easygoing family looking for a reliable, caring, energetic after-school nanny for our bright and happy sons (aged 2 and 4). Our youngest attends nursery and our eldest is starting school in September 2022. We are looking for help in the afternoons/evenings, with additional hours available during school holidays and possibly a couple of hours in the mornings for a very local candidate.

DAYS: 3-4 days per week, Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri (negotiable)

HOURS: 3pm-7pm

LOCATION: Olympic Park, E20. This is a live-out role.

PAY: Market rate, depending on experience. Our nanny will play a critical role in our family life, so we are happy to pay an amount that fairly reflects their skills and experience.

DUTIES:
- School pick-up (10 min walk away) and after-school activities for our eldest, e.g. clubs, playdates, relaxing at home, helping with homework.
- Preparing dinner for the children.
- Nursery pick-up for our youngest (2 mins walk away) at around 5pm.
- Supervising dinner and helping with bath time.
- Very light housekeeping in relation to the children (e.g. cleaning up kitchen after dinner, tidying up toys, children’s laundry). We have a dedicated cleaner.

ESSENTIAL:
- Experience of working with multiple energetic young children aged 6 and under (nursery, childminding or nannying)
- DBS
- Paediatric first aid
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliable
- Non-smoker
- Strong references.

POSSIBLE/NEGOTIABLE:
- 1-3 mornings per week (7am-9am) during term time
- 4 full days per week (9am-6pm) during school holidays

PLEASE NOTE: We do not pay cash in hand. We pay tax and national insurance and provide payslips.
