I was very anxious when I had to go back to work full time and leave my little daughter- aged 10 months with a childminder. Leaving your child with someone else for 8 to 10 hours daily is very daunting to say the least, but from the first time I met Desray, I knew she would be the best person for our daughter and she has not only lived up to our expectations, she has gone above and beyond.
Sarah was with Desray for over a year and I could not be more grateful for all she has done for her. Sarah settled very easily from the beginning, thanks to Desray's caring nature and thanks to her extremely organised schedules. Every day, the children know what to expect: lot's of fun and challenging activities, organised around set times and routines for snacks, lunch and nap times, which make for happy children who feel secure and well cared for.
I can honestly say that our daughter has loved every day with Desray and that we have felt blessed, knowing she was not only in safe hands but also that she was having fun and learning lot's. Desray thrives to help the children in her care develop every part of their little beings and develops and records their key milestones regularly, which she shares with parents, be them regarding language acquisition or motor skills, social skills etc. It has also felt like a blessing to see that every morning my daughter was actually looking forward to getting ready to go to Desray's house- which only confirmed my knowledge that she was in the best possible care. Desray also sent daily photos and reports which really made my days at work easier as the photos gave me an insight in each day of her week.
I must also mention Desray's husband who has been amazing with Sarah- evidenced by the huge hugs he has managed to get from her; and her two children- who have also played a huge role in my daughter's life this last year. Both of them are adorable young people who have given Sarah even more love and have been great role models for her. Having Desray as our childminder really was the best decision we made and we are forever grateful for the great start in life she has given her.

Nicky has been looking after our 3 year old daughter for over a year now, and we could not be happier! Nicky is kind, caring, flexible and most importantly, I can leave my daughter with her knowing she is in safe hands! Nicky is great and Sarah loves spending time with her- Nicky has the perfect balance of planned activities, taking the children outdoor and learning / baking etc.! She does not take many children as she wants to be fully involved with them all and that makes for a perfect "home from home" caring environment. My daughter always talks fondly of what she does when she is at Nicky's and we are never in a position where she does not want to go (even after the long summer holidays!)- quite the contrary: she will happily hush me away in the morning, keen to get on with her day of fun with Nicky. I cannot recommend Nicky highly enough to all those of you who may be (like me) an anxious mother! Nicky sends pictures everyday as well as an account of how the day went! Entrusting your child to Nicky will bring you peace of mind when you see how caring, kind and organised she is.

Our daughter was with Nicky for two years until we moved away from London last April- and from April to July, we still drove to her daily as we didn't want our daughter going to anyone else! she is now starting nursery in the primary school two minutes walk from home but even now, 45 minutes drive from Nicky, we still call her occasionally to look after Sarah when we need as we trust her so much, and we know Sarah always loves going back to her house and her family. And we are so lucky and soooo grateful that Nicky is always so caring and flexible and happy to help out (holidays or term time!).
I cannot recommend Nicky enough. Your little one will be in safe and truly caring hands- not to mention all the lovely daily activities (Nicky loves craft!) and all the great times outdoor (which my daughter always loves!).
