Christine looked after my daughter since she was 10 months old for 2 days each week and I have been extremely happy with the care she received and the great progress she made whilst with Christine. Christines home is always welcoming, clean and well organised and Molly had great fun playing with all the toys and activities available. My daughter especially enjoyed creative tasks such as drawing and painting and has made me some wonderful pieces that I will always treasure.

Christine is fantastic at encouraging good behaviour, manners and kindness to others, skills which are important to us at home and her warm and friendly but no nonsense approach really sets her apart. She provides healthy, homemade food and snacks each day and Molly always ate better here than she did for me.

All in all I am really happy with the level of care Molly received and I’m certain that being in such a positive and happy environment has helped her to develop into a confident little girl and made the step up to nursery much easier.

I would absolutely recommend Christine as a wonderful childminder. She has so much experience and always had good advice or ideas of things to try at home if I was struggling with issues such as sleep, eating and potty training but over all my daughter loved going to see Christine and still asks to visit her now.

Caring, loving, nurturing home environment

Christine looked after my 2 girls for almost 6 years while we lived in Leeds. Christine and her family were very warm and our initial anxiety of leaving our tiny first born with a ‘stranger’ disappeared within the first week. She is an absolute gem of a person who truly loves the children she nurtures in her home. Christine not only provides amazing toys and nutritious meals, she makes sure the children are out of the house for playgroups, walks outdoors and fun activities in her huge back garden. Discipline, manners, empathy and patience is something my girls picked up from being in Christine’s home in their crucial early years. As new parents, we learnt a lot from Christine and I credit her early positive parenting skills for the wonderful young ladies my girls have become.

Professional, caring and consistent.

Christine looked after our child from 10 months until pre school nursery. From day 1 she has been a fantastic influence by nurturing him, spending 1:1 time when able to, demonstrating fairness, instilling manners and being consistent with firm routines. She puts alot of thought in the detail of the activities she carries out with the children.
Christine helped prepare our son for the next phase of his life for which we are very grateful for, and which was a big change for him at the time.
She has a wealth of child care experience and knowledge and has been invaluable in supporting us as parents along our journey. She is reliable and informative. Our child has always looked forward to going to Christine's and playing with the children across all ages.
She has plenty of toys for different age groups and a dedicated area for the children with its own front door.
She has a real love for children and treats all her children fairly. The children in turn respect her and together create a harmonious environment with fun and respect.

Reliable, consistent, nurturing

Christine has looked after both my children since September 2011, when my son was 15 months old and my daughter was 4. My daughter has since moved onto High School but my son is still with her for 9 out of 10 before and after school sessions a week. Christine has taken him from nappies and bottles through to endless discussions about football and rugby! Christine is 100% reliable. She is firm but fair with her expectations and as a result the children she has in her care play together really well across a range of ages. Her house has a dedicated childcare room with doors onto a large garden packed with toys which the children use whenever the weather is good enough. She walks to and from Wigton Moor before and after school and the children enjoy this chance to stretch their legs and talk all the way there. We will really miss her when my son goes to High school in 18 months time - she has been a very positive influence on their childhoods.

Caring, nurturing, consistent, fair and loving.

Christine was childminder to all 3 of my children and we used her service for 5 years. I have been told on many occasions how well mannered and polite my children are and I know most of that comes down to Christine. Her home environment is outstanding for the service she provides with a particularly large garden. She focuses time on providing education and learning but more importantly to me giving time to each child to make them feel comfortable and loved. She is firm and fair with food, routines and manners and hasn’t high standards that I had so much respect for. Over the 5 years she became part of my family and the children loved her. I would highly recommend Christine should you want a caring, safe, nurturing environment for your children.
