About Me
I am 24 years old, i am currently a deputy play worker in a childcare setting but looking for a change of positions. I have an 18 month old little girl, I’m confident & caring with good communication and am passionate about working with children and providing the best care.
I’m currently working with children and have done for the past 6 years in a nursery & primary school setting meaning I have a great understanding of children from ages 0-11. I think keeping up to date on training is very important I’m currently first aid trained, child protection and have an in date DBS, food safety hygeine & prep , autism awareness & fire safety courses in date.
My Experience
I currently work in an after school club for primary aged children aged of 4-11 where I am a deputy play worker, I can run sessions alone, I work well in a team and on my own, know how to work under pressure and keep a safe but fun environment.
I have 5 years experience in a private nursery setting with babies from 12 weeks- 4 years.
When at college I did my work experience in a care and learning centre, helped running baby groups and meeting new mums, from the age of 15 knew I wanted to work with children.
