About Me
I’m a childminder in Aberdeen, I’m in the Mile End area, with my husband and daughter.
We live in a lovely warm, bright spacious house, I have a dedicated comfortable play room for the children in my care.
I attend local playgroups and parks with the children and meet with other childminding groups weekly.
My Experience
I have worked as a registered childminder for the last 6 years and I can say that I enjoy working with children! I provide ELC and Me2 placements for Aberdeen City Council.
My Qualifications
I have a recent qualification (SVQ) in Social Services and Young People. I achieved this over a 2 year period, whilst working as a childminder. The knowledge and understanding I gained from the SVQ is used in my practice daily and I can say that it has improved my practice and understanding on children and their needs.
My Availability
I’m available Monday to Thursday 9.30am to 2.30pm

I would highly recommend Sonia's child minding service.
Our daughter loved her time with Sonia in her family setting and really liked her daughter.
Sonia has a lovely family home with a nice garden and does a range of activities with the children.
She is also a great cook and provides snacks and meals for the children.
I always found her to be honest, trustworthy and professional.
I think Sonia played a big part in my daughters development.

We would highly recommend Sonia for looking after your children. She used to pick our daughter up from nursery a few days a week for the afternoon. Our daughter loved her time with Sonia. Her house is big, warm and homely with a great playroom and garden. She did lots of varied activities with them including trips to the park, crafts, dressing up, games, reading books together, baking and lots more. Very professional and trustworthy!

Sonia looks after both our children after Mile End nursery/school, 1 at nursery for morning session and 1 at school. She is a very nice person, great with the kids and puts in a lot of effort to do activities or things for entertainment for the kids. Provides meals and snacks which is a big plus. Really handy if living in Midstocket area like us and Sonia herself. All round great service.

Sonia provides a high standard professional childcare service. We are very happy with the level of care provided by Sonia. All matters handled in a friendly and professional manner and most importantly our child loves spending time with Sonia.
