About Me
I’m a care inspectorate registered childminder and mum-my daughter attends Mile End Primary School.
I currently have space for ELC funded placement for a child.

During Term Time I look after children from Mile End Nursery and Primary School, Skene Square Nuresry and St Joseph’s.
I offer:
full or part time care
Drop off or collection from nursery
Morning breakfast club

Babysitting
I live in a bright, spacious house just 15 minutes walk from Mile End Primary School.
My service involves (before school) the children having breakfast, playtime and walking to and from school daily.
Back at home the children can play indoors or outside in the garden, join in activities or simply have quiet time. We have visits out to the local parks and green spaces every week.
I provide healthy breakfasts, lunch, snacks and teatime, if required (this is included in the cost of my service)
My Experience
I am a registered Care Inspectorate childminder;
ELC registered care provider
I am a member of the SCMA (Scottish Childminding Association);
I am fully insured with SCMA;
I hold a full, clean driving licence;
I hold a PVG licence;
I was a catering manager (in my past life) so have
extensive knowledge of food hygiene procedures.
Paediatrics First Aid course completed
My Qualifications
Safe and secure child protection course;
Business side of childminding;
Paediatrics Frist Aid
I previously worked catering manager (for 13 years) so I have extensive knowledge of food hygiene courses from basic level to managing food service outlets;
I have completed an Allergy workshop and was successfull in training others in this field;
I have completed IOSH qualification in Working and
Managing Safely;
I completed various fire safety courses through my career;

My hours of work are
Monday to Friday 7am-6.15pm
Babysitting 7pm to 2am

I would highly recommend Sonia's child minding service.
Our daughter loved her time with Sonia in her family setting and really liked her daughter.
Sonia has a lovely family home with a nice garden and does a range of activities with the children.
She is also a great cook and provides snacks and meals for the children.
I always found her to be honest, trustworthy and professional.
I think Sonia played a big part in my daughters development.

We would highly recommend Sonia for looking after your children. She used to pick our daughter up from nursery a few days a week for the afternoon. Our daughter loved her time with Sonia. Her house is big, warm and homely with a great playroom and garden. She did lots of varied activities with them including trips to the park, crafts, dressing up, games, reading books together, baking and lots more. Very professional and trustworthy!

Sonia looks after both our children after Mile End nursery/school, 1 at nursery for morning session and 1 at school. She is a very nice person, great with the kids and puts in a lot of effort to do activities or things for entertainment for the kids. Provides meals and snacks which is a big plus. Really handy if living in Midstocket area like us and Sonia herself. All round great service.

Sonia provides a high standard professional childcare service. We are very happy with the level of care provided by Sonia. All matters handled in a friendly and professional manner and most importantly our child loves spending time with Sonia.
