About Me
We are an English-French couple with two daughters born June 2018 and August 2021. We live between Brixton and Herne Hill. I'm a translator / language teachers; my French husband is a marketing director and we both work from home.
We are raising our children to be bilingual in French and English et c'est pour ça que nous cherchons un(e) Français(e) ou bien une personne francophone.
My Requirements
We are looking for someone French-speaking -
- energetic, outdoors, positive and creative to look after our younger daughter Gabrielle (2 years old in Aug 2023) on TWO DAYS A WEEK starting from around 11 September, ideally Fridays and one other day
- maybe occasional school pick-ups for her older sister (Wix's Lane) and after school
- we are based in Brixton / Herne Hill
- flexibility - either we or you can be unavailable with a few weeks' notice
- occasional babysitting
Ideally you will have experience of working with kids around 2.
older sister Joséphine (who will be 5 in June 2023) goes to school in Wix's Lane, Clapham.
Younger sister Gabrielle currently attends a childminder, we'd like to find some part time nanny French speaker for some days though.
Ideally we'd like you to start and end your day at our house between Brixton and Herne Hill, but we might consider arrangements where we drop off and pick up.
We are looking for someone French who is verbal and has lots of energy, likes to go outdoors and do things around London, and who has plenty of imagination to think up creative activities.
